The Slider question type lets you set a range (ex. 0–15) and have users pick a value within the range using a slider. The slider question collects data like a text response question.
NOTE: You cannot make graphs in reports with data from a slider.
- Within your form, click on the Questions tab
- Under Basic Questions, double-click or click and drag the Slider question to add it to your form
- Optional: Add an Identifier to your question
- Enter the Question Title
- Optional: Add a Description
- Set the +Display settings
- Set the +Options settings

This question type appends to the question before it to make it appear that they are connected within the form. NOTE: Any Branching Logic, such as to hide or show the previous question, will also apply to this question. |
Width |
You can adjust the width based on a percentage of the size of the page. By default, the value is 100% to make it fit the size of the page. |

Enabling this will make the question Optional. When a user enters the form, if the question is Optional they will be able to proceed and complete the form without providing a response to this question. |
Minimum Value |
Set the minimum value that can be selected in the Slider Question NOTE: By default, the minimum value is set to 0. |
Maximum Value |
Set the maximum value that can be selected in the Slider Question NOTE: By default, the minimum value is set to 100. |
Step Size |
Determine how the values with increment on the slider. NOTE: By default, the step size is set to 1. |
Left Label |
Label that appears on the top left of the slide bar. |
Right Label |
Label that appears on the top right of the slide bar. |
Initial Value |
Determines the initial position of the slider. |
